Converged Technology Advanced Technical Certificate
The advanced technical certificate (ATC) in converged technology prepares students for working with the cloud, virtualization, backup systems, and storage management.
The shift of enterprise computing to the software defined data center has triggered a need for IT staff that can harness these emerging technologies. This program provides students experience with leading technology providers such as EMC, VMware and RedHat. Since this is an advanced certificate, students in this program should have some computing experience or certification such as CCNA, MCSA or Network+.
This ATC is for students who have already completed a degree in the computer information technology field and who seek additional training in advanced networking concepts, hardware, operating systems, virtualization and storage. Students should speak with the CIT department chair for more information and to determine eligibility.
