Music conventions

• These are used to express the difference between the genres of music for example a pop video is quite light hearted and gives the people viewing it a positive feeling and the genre is used in night clubs to give euphoric feeling.

• While a metal genre can sometimes give the viewers a slight negative feeling as the videos will show a dark negative view of real life events like people getting bullied or having other negative events happen to them.

• Another example of music video genre is alternative which is the one that I have chosen for my music video that I might be creating this is a genre that has not been used much so many people don’t really know what it is about.
