It’s more than just filling in the blanks when you are writing a contract. Casey Chapman will cover common issues in writing purchase agreements and with 24 / 48 Hour Contingencies. You’ll want to be in the room to hear how you can best represent your clients by writing well-thought out contracts that reflect what your clients want. Tuesday, October 15 8:30 – 11:30 am Self-Protection & Predator Awareness (2019 Mandatory Topic) Instructor: Michael Jamison 3 hours ND mandatory CE (MAN20-024) This course is split in two sections. During the two-hour classroom portion, the instructor will arm attendees with the knowledge to recognize, avoid and handle stalkers and predators. Students will also learn tips for keeping children and other family members safe. Then, attendees will learn techniques to escape an attacker. These escape tactics are simple and can be easily used by people of any size or strength, making it the perfect substitute for your traditional self-defense course. . About the Instructors: Casey Chapman practices law in Bismarck & Fargo with emphasis in real estate, business, and estate planning. He is a former adjunct instructor in Business Law for the University of Mary and for Dickinson State University at its Bismarck campus and also the NDAR Legal Counsel. Casey is married to Patsy, who is a REALTOR®, and together they share a family of six children and three grandchildren. Michael Jamison is a retired Air Force Sergeant & Colorado State Trooper. After serving with the 1002 Security Police Squadron, he became Master Trooper for the Colorado State Patrol where he also served as trainer for the CSP Academy. His 20+ years with the CSP gave him unique experience, specifically in the areas of self- protection, defensive driving, and emergency operations planning.

KEEP YOUR CE CERTIFICATES! Each REALTOR®/Licensee is responsible for keeping their CE certificates. If you have lost a certificate you will have to get a duplicate from the entity that sponsored the course you attended. Please check course numbers to be sure you haven’t taken the same course previously this year. REFUND POLICY Full refund (less $10 processing fee if registration was paid by credit card) may be returned only if notice of cancellation is submitted in writing to the ND Association of REALTORS® five days prior to classes. Refund of half the fee will be returned upon receipt of written cancellation no later than two

ATTENTION BROKERS!! Every North Dakota licensee (except those that are exempt) will need 9 hours of continuing education by November 15, 2019. For 2019 3 hours must be in the mandatory topic of Safety. (with an element of cybersecurity) The Designated Broker is required to certify to the Real Estate Commission that each renewing licensee has completed the CE hours when renewing licenses. Therefore, the licensee and the Designated Broker must retain copies of all education forms and certificates for their own records. Online Registration Link Below
