On successful comple�on of the programme,

• The avia�on maintenance, con�nuing

airworthiness and technical services sector,

the different mechanisms, models and

processes available to manage efficiently

aircra8 maintenance and airworthiness.

• The key issues involved in technical

management with specific applica�on to the

aircra8 MRO industry and the rela�onship

between financial decision-making and MRO

overall strategy.

• Technical records management roles in

EASA Part-145 Aircra8 Maintenance

Organisa�ons (AMOs) and CAMOs.

• The key decision criteria for aircra8 leasing

from technical, performance, regulatory and

economic perspec�ves. The opera�on of an

aircra8 financial lease and the financial

models to determine the value of an aircra8

during its life-cycle.

• Lean management and process

improvement roles within the avia�on MRO

sector.

• The technical and economic challenges,

processes and implementa�on of aircra8

composite repairs within MRO sector.

PROGRAMME DELIVERY

This one-year, part-�me, specialist diploma

programme will be delivered via blended learning,

with a number of face-to-face workshops

on-campus in both semesters, supported by an

online Learning Management System and online

tutor interac�on.

PROGRAMME CONTENT

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

A 2.2 honours primary degree plus 3 to 5 years

experience in the avia�on and related industries.

For applicants who cannot sa�sfy the minimum

entry requirements, the course board may, at its

discre�on, accept a level lower qualifica�on with

stronger evidence of prior learning and

experience.

An interview may form part of the applica�on

process.
