CUMI manufactures weldable and pastable alumina ceramic tiles that can be bonded onto the surface that is to be protected from wear.

We can supply the lining in the form of pre-engineered tiles and segments to match the profile of your equipment. These can be easily installed into your existing equipment and piping. We can also supply ready-to-fit ceramic lined equipment, such as pipes, bends, feed chutes, cones and other components.

Bulk material movement involving sliding often causes heavy wear to the equipment, resulting in damage of the equipment, lower reliability, production losses, and lower capacity utilisation. Installation of ceramic liners is a solution, and is a necessity in today’s competitive world where equipment availability and low operating costs are essential.

Based on your applications CUMI manufactures weldable, pastable, rubber backed and dovetail alumina ceramic tiles that can be bonded on to the surface that is to be protected from wear.

Apart from standard sizes, we offer pre-engineered tiles to suit specific equipment. 3D modeling is used to ensure a good fit for the contours of the lining surface.

CUMI can also offer a range of pre-fabricated Ceramic Lined Process Equipments in cases where drawing is provided.

CERAMIC IMPACT PADS

CUMITUFF™ Ceramic rubber composites are manufactured by hot vulcanizing the high alumina ceramic inserts into rubber. The alumina ceramic provides extreme resistance to wear while the elastic properties of the rubber effectively dampen the impact. The resultant composite is ideal for impact and wear protection systems in bulk material handling.

The state-of-the-art plant to manufacture high alumina ceramics and latest vulcanizing plant makes CUMI the largest manufacturer of ceramic rubber composites in India.

Based on severity of application, CUMI offers wear limiting products in 90% and 92% alumina.

CUMI offers various fixing options based on the application requirements, including cold vulcanizing bond, as well as composites with a mild steel backing plate having studs to facilitate easy installation.

CHEMICAl PUMP PARTS /////

In the transport and control of aggressive fluids, ceramic components provide exceptional resistance to corrosion, mechanical erosion and abrasion while maintaining their superior surface finish and fit.

CUMITUFF® high alumina chemical pump parts are manufactured from 95% and 99.5% alumina for mechanical seal face applications particularly for chemical industry and other similar applications in which corrosive attack is particularly severe. This material is subjected to extensive and rigorous laboratory testing in order to determine the effects of various reagents/chemicals on surface finish.

Our ‘T’ type inserts are resistant to highly corrosive acids and alkalis except phosphoric acid and hydro fluoric acids.

We can manufacture seal parts upto a maximum diameter of 220 mm. Our shaft protection sleeves are used by major pump manufacturers and every part can be made to customised to specific requirements.

Insulated electrodes are used in three roles, as igniters, flame detecting probes or liquid level probes in conjunction with appropriate control equipment. In the igniter and flame detetector applications sealing of the conductor to the ceramic is unimportant, but for liquid level control it generally is, particularly in steam raising or other process plants where the process involves pressure.
