Gloveboxes & Isolators

In response to the development of increasingly potentand potentially toxic pharmaceutical products andchemicals, Hosokawa Micron has a proven range ofstandard and bespoke barrier containment solutionsoffering both personnel and product protection.

Designed for manual and automated handling andprocessing, our isolators are available in single andmulti-cell variants for processes including milling,micronising, dispensing, sampling and product pack-off.

Nuclear Contained Process SystemsClass 1 – leak tightness < 0.05% vol/hr

Civil Nuclear & Defence containment and processsystems are designed to ensure easy de-contamination and to improve Availability, Reliability& Maintainability (ARM) of equipment including theuse of through the wall drive systems.

Design Substantiation Reports (DSRs) are producedby Suitably Qualified & Experienced Personnel (SQEP)to demonstrate that the engineered design iscompliant with all relevant mandatory requirementsand Safety Functional Requirements (SFRs).

The Hosokawa Laminar Flow Booth’s controlled, non-turbulent, filtered airflow means only clean air is in theoperator’s breathing zone and particles generatedduring processing activities are pushed away from thebreathing zone.

Custom-built or in standard sizes, the ergonomic design ofthe Hosokawa Laminar Flow Booths allow a wide range ofcontainers to be handled either manually or automaticallyand are designed for fixed or portable operation or as astandalone workstation.

Accurate weight controlled filling systems fromHosokawa Micron maintain the highest standards ofhygiene, dust control and product integrity. Theydeliver accurate, stable and repeatable weightreadings.

Available in standard or bespoke designs our filling andweighing systems can be designed for use in hazardousareas. They incorporate interchangeable, Stott designinflatable packing heads and integrated weigh platforms toprovide automatic control of bulk and dribble filling modes.
