KIDs WORSHIPChildren are always welcome in our services but we realize that kids learn better in environments that are designed for them! We offer childcare for ages birth through age 4 in our Nursery Suite (Room 100) and Kid’s Worship for Kindergarten through 4th grade in room 211/212. Visit the attendant at the Welcome Center for more details. This is currently coordinated by Brandy Westerfield.

Stitches of LoveMonday, January 28, 1-4 pm at CLC. We will continue to make pillows and small quilts. Pillows will be given to assisted living homes. Quilts will be given to girls at Grace and Mercy for the bunk beds.

Alpha Club TripJoin us for Catfish House in Clarksville Monday, February 4. We will plan to be there around 5 o’clock. Van will be available for those wanting to ride. I (Brenda Henderson) need to know if you plan to go and if you plan to ride the van no later than Friday February 1.

> Impact Ministries <Impact Ministries is open M/W/F, 10-Noon and is located at 513 W. 9th St. This CCBA supported mission collects non-perishable food items and

clothes to distribute to those who are in need as they share the gospel. Please feel free to bring your non-perishable food items weekly to the

Narthex and we will take them for you. Impact Ministry is always in need of volunteers. If you are interested, please contact the CCBA office,

Impact Ministry depends on food donations and monetary donations from the CCBA churches and other churches and organizations in Hopkinsville.

• It’s not too late... January Mission Project: Soup Month | Please bring cans of soup for Impact Ministries. A collection basket is at the bell tower door and in the Narthex by welcome station. A cup of hot soup on a cold winters’ day may warm a person’s stomach and soul. It may be all they will have for the day. Our goal is 100 cans of soup – be a blessing to someone.

How do I become a Christian?Admit -Admit you are a sinner and turn

away from your sin to follow God’s new direction for your life. (Rom. 3 :23; Acts 3:19)

Believe -Trust in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, for eternal life. (Jn. 3:16)

Confess -Acknowledge Jesus as Lord and the Leader of your life. (Rom. 10:9,13)

Invite -Pray asking Jesus to forgive you and accept God’s free gift of salvation. (Rom. 6:23, 10:13, Jn. I:12)

How may I join?By Baptism - When you have already

personally committed your life to Jesus Christ, but have not yet been baptized by immersion as a public symbol of your faith.

By Transfer - When you are a member of another Baptist Church.

By Statement - When you are a member of a church of another denomination of like faith and practice, and have been baptized by immersion as a public symbol of your faith.

When do I join?Near the close of the service, during the invitation, go forward to the minister and tell him of your decision. We strongly encourage a meeting with one of the ministerial staff prior to this decision. A minister will meet with you to help you understand your decision, answer any questions, pray with you and secure the information necessary for our records. Usually this takes just a few minutes. New members are presented and welcomed to the church.

| CCBA WMU Team project for Focus on WMU Week is to collect liquid laundry detergent for several area ministries in Christian County including Impact Ministry. Deadline is Sunday, Feb. 17th. Drop off and display in Narthex.

• Children’s Mission Day | Calling children grades 1-6, Saturday, February 16, 9am-12:30pm @ CLC/Salvation Army -Hosted by CCBA WMU Team. Join us for food, fun, fellowship and service!
