1. INTRODUÇÃOO Contact Tester SB é um instrumento detector de tensão alternada, por contato com o condutor, desenvolvido e testado de acordo com a norma internacional IEC 61243-1. O Contact Tester indica presença de tensão, através de sinais luminoso e sonoro, em instalações de corrente alternada dos seguintes tipos:

- Linhas de transmissão

- Linhas de distribuição

- Subestações

- Cubículos

OBS.: A norma IEC61243-1 se refere a instrumentos na faixa de tensão de 1kV a 765kV. Sendo assim, o instrumento de referencia de catalogo CT 0,1-1/SB esta fora do escopo dessa norma. Porém, ele é fabricado e testado tomando-se como referencia as exigências da norma.

- Remova a bateria se o Contact Tester não for utilizado por um longo período de tempo (15 dias). Este procedimen-to evita a descarga e a corrosão da bateria;

- Jamais substitua qualquer peça ou altere qualquer ajuste do instrumento;

- Qualquer manutenção deverá ser feita pelo fabricante;

- Durante o uso, deverão ser evitados dispositivos anticorona, terminações de cabos, barras duplas e cantos vivos de equipamentos energizados (ver item 10);

- Para trabalhos em quadros de distribuição, consulte o fabricante.

- Certifique-se de que o eletrodo de contato esteja rosqueado e aperte-o se necessário;

- Conecte o Contact Tester à Vara de manobra, utilizando o adaptador universal de acordo com figura 6;

- Executar novamente o teste de funcionamento conforme item 6 para assegurar-se de que o instrumento está funcionando corretamente.

1. INTRODUCTIONThe Contact Tester is an instrument that detects AC voltage by contact with the conductor, which has been designed and tested as per the international rule IEC 61243-1. It indicates the presence of voltage, through luminous and sound signals, at AC installations of the following types:

- Transmission lines

- Distribution lines

- Substations

- Cubicles

Note: the IEC61243-1 standard refers to instruments with voltage range of 1kV to 765kV. Therefore, the reference of catalog CT 0,1-1/SB is beyond the scope of this standard. However, it is manufactured and tested using as reference the requirements of the standard.

- During transport, keep the Contact Tester properly stored in its housing;

- If the Contact Tester is not used for a long period (15 days), remove the battery. This will prevent the battery from discharging and corroding;

- Never replace any parts or change any adjustments of the instrument;

- Any maintenance should be performed by the manufacturer;

- During usage, you should avoid anti-corona devices, cables terminations, sharp edges of energized equipment and double bar. (See item 10);

- For works on junction boxes, please, refer to the manufacturer.
