• CONSUMERISM is the equation of personal happiness with consumption and the purchase of material possessions. The term is often associated with criticisms of consumption starting with Thorstein Veblen or, more recently by a movement called Enoughism. Veblen's subject of examination, the newly emergent middle class arising at the turn of the twentieth century, comes to full fruition by the end of the twentieth century through the process of globalization.

• The expense in the family increases when the Christmas comes. Undoubtedly there is something behind that it stimulates us to buy in spite of the fact that the family economies suffer.

religious meaning, constitute the privileged epoch of the year to do gifts. In these dates, the companies extract his products to the market and bombard the consumer with his better advantages and qualities wrapped in brilliant advertising. It is inevitable to fall and to buy not only the nourishing products that are needed for the dinners and show restraint Christmas but also the gifts of different characters and prices for relatives and friends

The consumerism: the advertising.• The advertising and the marketing are creators of needs and

desires: they call the attention and wake the interest up, produce the desire and almost they lead us to the purchase of the product. It is bought being still a few models standard: person who lives comfortablly; master of success, winner; person of social prestige, etc.

• The result of some studies on the consumerism they have demonstrated that the children are the best consumers. The children are the principal victims of the wild advertising.
