• EPA regulates pesticides. You have to have some pesticides as some pests “glassy-winged sharpshooter, destroyed 14 billion in grapes and crops in California.

• FDA authorized the sale of genetically modied food in 1992 but DID NOT require that it be labeled as such. In Europe, labeling is common.

• Truth in Lending Act and Regulation Z are laws to protect consumers from credit cards. Consumers have to be shown clearly how much more they will pay, if they take a long time to pay versus paying debt off quickly.
