Contract #2: The MacKenzie Sewer Upgrades ‐ Phase 2 Project is proposed to divert flows from the Prairie Creek neighbourhood and the southern region of the MacKenzie Industrial area through the green space east of the Gregoire Neighborhoods. The upstream portion of this sewer between MacKenzie Boulevard and MacMillan Road will replace the existing sewer along the same alignment which travels through a 9 m wide RMWB right‐of‐way (ROW).

Southwest Water Supply Line Phase 1 - Construction

• This project is to bring new water supply mains across the Athabasca River from the Water Treatment Plant, for servicing the Horse Plateau and Hangingstone Plateau, and tying into Lower Townsite and Abasand Reservoir, effectively providing complete redundancy in the system between the South and Southwest supply lines. Eventually (i.e. after 2016), this water supply main might extend down to the Southlands Industrial Area to meet the ultimate build-out of this area. (Ref: Water Master Plan - Associated Engineering, 2011).

Milestone Complete:

• 75% Current Progress to date: The Contractor mobilized back to the Abasand Site for the LTS Reservoir tie-in works and commenced setup of rigid fence panels, trail closure signage as well as take down of trail light poles from the north and east side of the reservoir fence. The Contractor locates and began hydrovac to expose the end of the steel casing pipe adjacent the skate park/reservoir as well as other key locations for the new watermain installation. The Contractor plans to commence open cut pipe installation at the LTS Reservoir site in early June
