About the Program
The Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MSCE) program, Construction Engineering &
Management option (CEM) provides tremendous opportunities for students to be specialized and advanced as construction project engineers who take care of complex-scale construction projects that local and public sector industries are always dealing with. As one of the largest undergraduate civil engineering programs in the country, the MSCE CEM option is an essential part of the department’s strategic plan to ensure continued success and professional growth of our graduates and ensure lifelong learning and development of our alumni.
Admission Requirements n BS from a civil engineering program, or
equivalent, accredited by ABET or ACCE
n Minimum of 3.0 GPA in all undergraduate upper division course work in engineering, mathematics and science
The CEM option in the MSCE program requires completion of 30 units of graduate courses, as specified below.
