I was in charge of beginning the magazine poster. I used the photo that I had edited before in Photoshop

I used the Empire masthead and placed it on top and in the centre to make the magazine begin to look like a magazine

The barcode

These are the names of upcoming movies in 2014, like Empire magazine does.

The main feature of the article links with our trailer. It helps to advertise the movie and the actress.

The tagline for the movie, that will be on the poster. It hints to the movie on the cover to intrigue the audience.

This is what the image looked like before I edited the eyes. I felt that that the contacts that she wore didn’t show up as well in the picture. I added another layer, used the eye dropper tool to take the colour from the contact she wore, to make it darker and show up more.

I also edited out her braces as it didn’t fit with the poster. I cut our sections of her real teeth and placed them on top, blending them together.

I had to include the main parts of the empire magazine in order to help make it look authentic. I put the month, year and price above the “M” as that is where this is normally situated. I put the slogan under the masthead on the left and the email on the right.Kimberley Young
