Our teamJan BrázdaFounder and Managing Partner of Constellation His background is in line management – firstly in sales, marketing and finally in general management. He successfully managed the World Trade Center Czech Republic, coordinating high level international business networking. Furthermore, he spent six years managing the CEE regional activities of American Express. From 2005 he changed his career and became a CEE Managing Director for Hays Specialist Recruitment. In 2008 Jan joined two other local partners in Prague office of Spencer Stuart, one of the global leaders providing executive search services. In 2008 Jan was elected to the position of Vice President of Amcham and he was again re-elected several times since. In 2009 Jan founded Constellation Executive Search.

Ivan BorošPartner Prior to joining Constellation, Ivan worked in senior management positions in marketing and communication divisions of multinational companies - DHL Express, SAP and Cinergy Global Resources, responsible for implementation of international marketing and PR strategy. In the last five years he worked as private investor in the field of e-commerce and technology start-ups. He gained management experience back in 1990´s as the director of external and internal communication of the manufacturing company Vítkovice a.s. From 2005 to 2009 he served as an elected Vice President of Czech Golf Federation.  

Andrea VančíkováSenior ConsultantAndrea has a legal background based on her law education. She worked as a lawyer in Flow East group. She was responsible for all legal aspects of the Problem Loans Department. Later on, she worked in the Property Department. At the beginning of her professional career she worked as a lawyer in CSOB Bank in Problem Loans Department. She was responsible for major cases where some international element was involved. Since 2009 Andrea works in Constellation Executive Search as a Senior Consultant.

Our fee is always fixed, we do not charge any extra costs related to our internal expenses and we are open to share the business risk with our customers. The first instalment of our fee is payable in advance (retainer), the second, usually larger (placement fee), is payable after our project is successfully finished.

Constellation consultants and researchers are using the most modern technological tools (FILEFINDER 10) in order to be able to search through all available information sources, including professional social networks, newspapers, magazines and also corporate websites. FILEFINDER 10 has been recognized as “groundbreaking technology” as a result of the new “Research Zone” technology which allows users to identify and research senior executives who may be found in various websites – including Newspaper aggregators, Corporate websites and Social Networks.

Constellation consultants are ready to offer also other innovative human capital services such as Talent Mapping, Interim Management, Assessment Center or Background check.

Stage 1

•Analyze the unique business culture and structure of the client organization•Determine the skills, knowledge and abilities required from the successful candidate for the

position•Agree on several key selection criteria and crittical competencies•Prepare a customized specification •Average number of days needed: 1-2

Stage 2

•Develop target list of organizations where potential candidates could be found•Target organizations of relevant size and characteristics focusing on industry leaders and

innovative market movers•Meeting with client and discussing the target list•Average number of days needed: 3

Stage 3

•Use external sources to identify quality candidates prior to contacting them – utilizing personal contacts, personal research and all modern technology tools

•Organize competency based interviews with qualified and interested candidates•Conduct preliminary reference check to verify candidates „past performance“, validate

credentials and assess individual strenghts and weaknesses against key selection criteria•Present most qualified list of candidates (Long list) using written appraisal and assessment

Stage 4

•In cooperation with the client choose 3-5 candidates (Short list) who will participate in personal interview with the potential supervisor or HR manager. We prepare chronological information sheet about each candidate, matching his/her ability against required competencies through extensive referencing

Stage 5

•Facilitate the final negotiation between the client and the final candidate regarding a compensation package and other employment terms

•Minimize any potential disappointment at this stage and provide both parties with the best opportunity to continue building positive working relationship

Stage 6

•Communicate regularly with the client and the candidate during the first year of placed candidate´s assignment

•Assist in the smooth integration of the candidate into the new job and environment and prevent any potential misunderstanding
