Our food, it seems, is always touching plastic. Plastics play a part a part in every phase of
food production and preparation. Food gets processed on plastic equipment,
and packaged and shipped in plastic-lined boxes and cans.
At home, we store and reheat the leftovers in plastic containers.

Effects in using plastic
Heating food in plastic seems to increase the amount that’s transferred to food.
Migration also increases when plastic touches fatty, salty , or acidic foods.
Most polystyrene foam food-service products have never
contained chlorofluorocarbons(CFCs) that have been
associated with the depletion of the ozone layer.

Paper cups are lightweight and sanitary . But they don’t insulate as well as polystyrene foam cups.

Although polystyrene can be washes and reprocessed for uses other than food containers, this practice has not yet proved economically profitable for widespread adoption.

Keep cup is the alternative to the paper cup or the polystyrene cup for takeaway coffee.
Keep cup is very light and most importantly, they are recyclable at the end of their life.
