Direct Visual connection to the destination enhances walkability. In this case,the metrostation is not only given a direct physical path but a visual connectivity from Shakurpur ,
making it convenient for people to walk to it.

The institutional areas are disconnectedfrom NSP by the barreen stretch.However NSP is a flock point for the
college crowd,but the transit corridor isnot very active
Shakurpur:people fromShakurpur walk to the metrostation through NSP along
informal transit paths
Kohat enclave has its own retail,however a lack of community space
can be catered to by NSP
Civic Chowk and it s peripheralarea needs to be integrated backinto the NSP complex
Pitampura residents could have better
walkability to NSP and the metro station whichwould help draw more crowd from these areas
