By God's grace and His ability to inspire those around the world, Em- manuel now houses and cares for over 450 unwanted, abandoned, and abused children of all ages. Emmanuel is blessed by a beautiful landscape — complete with moun- tains, fresh air, and plentiful space for the children to grow both physically and spiritually. It is located approxi- mately 70 miles northeast of Hondu- ras' capital, Tegucigalpa. Emmanuel's facilities include a church, homes for the children, staff and volunteers, din- ing halls, laundry facilities, a ware- house, bakery, medical and dental clinics, soccer field, and gymnasium. Emmanuel is a Christian organization whose vision is to evangelize and dis- ciple children so that they may grow up to be living lights and good exam- ples in the ways of God to their coun- trymen. There are still a few spots available. If you or someone you know is interest- ed in being a part of our team, email Ryan Deaton at [email protected] or call 334-712-9223. The deadline for joining our team is June 10. There are many ways in which you can support our mission. First, I ask that you pray for our team as we seek guidance from God on how we can be the hands and feet of Jesus and that He would work in the lives of each team member to bring them closer to Him. Second, coming soon there will be ways you can support our team financially. God Bless, Ryan Deaton Director of Recreational Ministries

    REACHING OUT...IT’S WHO WE ARE!

    Orphanage Emmanuel January 2020

January 16-21, 2020, our church will take a team of servants to Orphanage Emmanuel in Guaimaca, Honduras. We will be introducing and facilitating various new sports and games for the children of the orphanage to learn. While there we will also be able to identify other tasks that we can help them with. In December 1989, still without elec-tricity and running water, Emmanuel opened its doors to the first five chil-dren. By God's grace and His ability to inspire those around the world, Em-manuel now houses and cares for over 450 unwanted, abandoned, and abused children of all ages. Emmanuel is blessed by a beautiful landscape — complete with moun-

tains, fresh air, and plentiful space for the children to grow both physically and spiritually. It is located approxi-mately 70 miles northeast of Hondu-ras' capital, Tegucigalpa. Emmanuel's facilities include a church, homes for the children, staff and volunteers, din-ing halls, laundry facilities, a ware-house, bakery, medical and dental clinics, soccer field, and gymnasium. Emmanuel is a Christian organization whose vision is to evangelize and dis-ciple children so that they may grow up to be living lights and good exam-ples in the ways of God to their coun-trymen. FA I T H is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 Christian faith is basically hope for the future of human beings and this world promised by the God of the exodus and the resurrection of the crucified Jesus. ~ Jurgen Moltmann. Christian faith has two prongs: a prong of belief and a prong of trust. Faith, then, is a combination of courageous believing and acting. Keep fai thing!
