It is important that your Wifi is not in ‘Airplane Mode.’ That somehow deactivates the Bluetooth.

Check your Bluetooth status and switch it on.

Tap on your device name to connect.

Seventh:

Your IPad will generate a four digit code for you to enter on your Bluetooth keyboard and hit ‘enter.’
