Outfall Relocation ‐ UpdateThe CVRD in partnership with the Cowichan Tribes Municipality of North Cowichan and City of Duncan is pursuing anamendment to the Central Sector Liquid Waste Management Plan (CSLWMP) which would authorize relocation of theJoint Utilities Boards treated effluent outfall from the Cowichan River to a new ocean outfall location The move isrequired in part due to a lease agreement with Cowichan Tribes and to ensure the long‐term sustainability of theoutfall which is currently challenged by low river levels during dry periods

Outfall Relocation ‐ UpdateThe CVRD in partnership with the Cowichan Tribes Municipality of North Cowichan and City of Duncan is pursuing anamendment to the Central Sector Liquid Waste Management Plan (CSLWMP) which would authorize relocation of theJoint Utilities Boards treated effluent outfall from the Cowichan River to a new ocean outfall location The move isrequired in part due to a lease agreement with Cowichan Tribes and to ensure the long‐term sustainability of theoutfall which is currently challenged by low river levels during dry periods

Outfall Relocation ‐ UpdateThe CVRD in partnership with the Cowichan Tribes Municipality of North Cowichan and City of Duncan is pursuing anamendment to the Central Sector Liquid Waste Management Plan (CSLWMP) which would authorize relocation of theJoint Utilities Boards treated effluent outfall from the Cowichan River to a new ocean outfall location The move isrequired in part due to a lease agreement with Cowichan Tribes and to ensure the long‐term sustainability of theoutfall which is currently challenged by low river levels during dry periods

Outfall Relocation ‐ UpdateThe CVRD in partnership with the Cowichan Tribes Municipality of North Cowichan and City of Duncan is pursuing anamendment to the Central Sector Liquid Waste Management Plan (CSLWMP) which would authorize relocation of theJoint Utilities Boards treated effluent outfall from the Cowichan River to a new ocean outfall location The move isrequired in part due to a lease agreement with Cowichan Tribes and to ensure the long‐term sustainability of theoutfall which is currently challenged by low river levels during dry periods
