The 21st International Congress on Advances in Automotive Electronics is being led jointly by Christof Kellerwessel (Ford-Werke GmbH) and Dr. Peter Steiner (Audi Electronics Venture GmbH). As a professor of mathematics at the University of Bielefeld, Gunter Dueck was a world leading scientist in Shannon‘s Information Theory. In 1987, he joined the IBM Scienti-fic Center Heidelberg. Here, he worked on the foundation on new business areas like Optimisation, Statistics & AI, and Business Intelligence (today: Big Data). Appointed an IBM Distinguished Engineer, he served as the Chief Technology Officer of IBM Germany and the Cloud Computing Leader, until he retired early (2011) to pursue his interests in writing, teaching, and speaking on topics like innovation, philosophy of change, education and digitalisation. He is the author of many best-selling books (e.g. on „Swarm Stupidity“) and a co-founder of the Wiki of Music.
