The annual Scout Mass was held last weekend to recognize the invaluable contri-bution that our Scouts make to our parish and community. We are so grateful for all the ways that our Scouts and leaders give back through their service and learn-ing. PILGRIMAGE TO MLK SITES Saturday, May 19 Monsignor Al and Father Bryan Small will lead a pilgrimage from IHM and Sts. Peter & Paul in Decatur in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King, Jr. Destinations in-clude the MLK National Historic Site, the King Center and the Center for Civil and Human Rights. This coming Saturday, May 19, 9:00 a.m.-3:45 p.m. $25 includes transportation, box lunch and admission to the Civil and Human Rights Center. ALTAR SERVER TRAINING May 15 Training for IHM parishioners and IHM School students in-terested in the Ministry of Altar Server will take place this Tuesday, May 15, 6:30-8:00pm in the church. Servers must be in at least 4th grade to serve however, rising 4th graders are welcome to attend. Parents please plan to stay for the first 20 minutes for a meeting with clergy. SOCIAL JUSTICE MINISTRY PANEL ON U.S. IMMIGRATION May 14 This Monday at 7:30pm in the Lower Church, the Social Justice Ministry will present a panel of speakers to explain our current immigration laws in the United States. The speakers will explain "chain migration," rules for refugees seeking asylum, and access to DACA protection for "Dreamers" who were brought to the U.S. as children. The goal is to inform our opinions in line with our Catholic call to responsible citizenship. This event will be presented in English, but we are planning to host a similar talk in Spanish within a few weeks.

IHM MEN’S CLUB May 15 The final Men’s Club Meeting of the season is this Tuesday, May 15 on the back field of the IHM school. The meeting will be our fun night from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with free food and many enjoyable activities. Please R.S.V.P. at kwilliams@gsu.edu to attend.
