twintig grade. Geen wonder my mielies wil nie groei nie. Asof dit nie genoeg was nie, verander hulle grond van morge na hektaar, en my plaas se grootte verminder met die helfte van wat ek oorspronklik geërf het.

Dit is toe dat ek besluit om die plaas te verkoop. En glo my, ek het pas my plaas in die mark gesit, toe verander hulle myle na kilometer. Nou is my plaas so flippen vêr uit die dorp, dat niemand daarin belang stel nie!”

Troubleshooting for notebooks, PC’s and

phonesŸ Save the work that you are

busy with and restart. After restarting see if the problem still occurs.

Ÿ If your notebook, PC or phone connects to the internet through wireless and you can not connect, check if the wireless button is on or off.

Ÿ If nothing appears on your monitor(screen), check that all cables are plugged in properly.

Ÿ If your printer does not work, make sure the printer is turned on and plugged in and that it’s properly connected to the PC.

Ÿ If your computer gives you error messages, be sure to write down as much information as possible, before contacting your technician.

die dag gemaak.

The Welkom sales team were also at the Spar Eastern Cape tradeshow recently – and they

had a whole lot of fun with Alice and the Mad Hatter in

Wonderland.

Sparta employees, farm employees and various business people from Marquard attending Health and

Safety courses presented by Sparta Marquard and the Scarce Skills

Training Academy.

Sparta mid-managers attending a Supervisory Management training

course by internationally renowned speaker Chris Vermeulen. This training was funded by fund

secured from Agriseta.

Sparta Welkom staff recently collected clothes, baby items and blankets for House of Hope in Welkom. On delivery day little Teboho welcomed us with a big smile and even helped us to

unpack boxes. Thank you to all our staff and other Sparta partners who contributed.

The Sparta Marquard team recently laid a lovely figure-of-8 path for the Marquard High pre-school so that they can enjoy their daily exercise on their motorbikes. Jantjie Setai officially

opened the area for the children and afterwards the kids got riding – a fun day for all.

Ingredients

BUTTER

40g butter

20g blue cheese

20g sundried tomato, finely chopped

2 – 3 garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped or crushed

STEAK

4 matured Sparta sirloin steaks (250 – 300g each)

½ cup (125ml) olive oil

¼ cup (60ml) balsamic vinegar

Salt and pepper for seasoning

Preparation

1 Add the blue cheese, sundried tomato and garlic cloves to soft butter and mix well.

2 Shape it into a cylinder on cling wrap, wrap tightly and refrigerate until hard.

3 Coat steak in olive oil and balsamic vinegar mix. Season well with salt and pepper. let it stand for a minimum of 10 minutes.

4 Braai the steak on the fire or in a hot pan with olive oil, as desired (try to avoid well done steak).

remove steak from the pan/fire.

5 Take the butter from the fridge. Cut into ±1 – 2cm slices. place a slice on each hot steak and serve immediately.

Tip: Butter may be placed in the freezer to reduce preparation time. double the butter recipe and keep in the freezer for later use.
