The Called & Gifted Workshop Are you going through, or planning to make, a transition in your life? Perhaps your children have recently left home. Per-haps you want to return to work after an absence, or you are considering a call to the priesthood of religious life. Knowing what gifts God has given you to offer other people can help you to discern His will for your life– and provide you with direction when you make choices. On Friday July 18th and Saturday July 19th, our parish is sponsoring a teaching team from the Catherine of Sienna Institute in Colorado Springs to offer the introductory Called & Gifted workshop. The discern-ment process will help you discover God’s will for your life. Everyone is invited to participate. To register or find out more, call Cheryl at 663-1660, or [email protected]

Graduation Blessing

Dear Lord,

the life that you have given us has many stages.

Please bless these young people today,

as they leave one stage of life and begin another.

Guide them as they finish this chapter

in the story you have written for them,

and begin a new one, written on a fresh page.

Help them to make the right choices, Lord.

May they always remember

that past choices need not dampen a bright future,

nor good choices in the past

ensure that tomorrow will be carefree and easy.

Most of all, remind them, Lord,

that no one's story is fully lived

unless you are allowed to be its one, true author

by those who live it.

Amen.
