Configuring SIP Trunks on 3CX:
1. Go to VOIP Providers > Click Add Provider
2. Type in Name of Provider. I entered Intermedia
3. For Country Drop Down, select Generic
4. For Provider, select Generic Provider
5. Click Next
6. In the new screen, VOIP Provider Details, enter the following:
a. SIP server hostname or IP: usbc.accessline.com
b. SIP Server port: 6060
c. Outbound proxy port (default is 5060): 6060
7. Click Next
8. In the Account Details screen, enter External Number: Number you want displayed by
Intermedia
9. Authentication ID (aka SIP User ID): enter User ID from Intermedia
10. Authentication Password: enter Password from Intermedia
11. Maximum Simultaneous calls: Enter the number of SIP Trunks ordered from Intermedia
12. Click Next
13. In the Office Hours screen, select Connect to Extension and select an extension that you want
to assign and can make test calls in and out for testing purposes.
14. Click Next
15. The next window is to Create an Outbound Rule to configure on which PSTN port, VOIP
provider or bridge an outbound call should be placed on, enter Rule Name: Any Name you
want for the rule. In this demonstration, we used the default Rule for Intermedia SIP Trunks
16. In the Calls to Numbers with a length of: enter 7,10,11
17. Click Finish
18. From the Menu Panel on the right, select Ports/Trunks Status and you should see the Provider
Name Intermedia with Virtual Extension Number 10000 as Registered with a Green Light beside
it.
