28th EICF International Conference on Investment CastingJune 15 -18, Palazzo Dei Congressi, Lugano, Switzerland
The conference organised by the European Investment Casters’ Federation, andin association with Precicast SA, will provide the industry with the latestinformation on markets and technical advances to maintain the industry’spredominance in precision manufacture. An exposition will allow suppliers toexhibit their products and meet new potential customers. This will runcontinuously throughout the conference with the exception of the plenary sessionon Monday morning.
The conference will open with a presentation on international market dynamicsby Prof. Stephane Garelli, Professor of World Competitiveness at IMDBusiness School, University of Lausanne. Following the openingpresentation, the conference will proceed with a review of the industry’s majormarket sectors and challenges facing the industry from supply issues andcompetitive industries.
Following the plenary session the conference will continue with technicalseminars in two adjacent halls. The seminars have been arranged to allowdelegates to select appropriate lectures according to their interests.
To give added value to the event, optional industrial visits have been arrangedto allow delegates to visit the Fonderia Perseo art foundry, Georg Fischer highspeed machining facility and excursions to the AgustaWestland helicopterassembly or the Maserati sports car production factory.
