Compounding World Expo 2018 is an exciting new event from AMI that will run alongside the Plastics Recycling World Exhibition 2018. Each focused exhibition will take place at the same time in separate but adjacent halls at Messe Essen.

The exhibition will feature an international array of more than 130 suppliers of polymer additives and compounding machinery and equipment, as well as providers of related services. The target audience encompasses compounders from all sectors of the polymer industry including polyolefins, PVC, engineering plastics, TPEs, masterbatch, and recycling.

Your ticket to this free-to-attend-event will provide free access to a series of business debates, training seminars, and industry presentations, organised by the experts at AMI. These will be held in two dedicated conference theatres on the exhibition floor.

Theatre 1 – Business Debates & Industry Presentations

Theatre 2 – Training Seminars & Industry Presentations

Business Debates Business debates will run for 45 minutes and feature influential industry leaders discussing strategic issues facing the global compounding industry. They will be focused on specific sectors of the compounding market including engineering plastics, masterbatch, PVC, and polyolefins.

Training Seminars A series of six practical training seminars will be delivered by experts on a range of topics, such as the optimisation of compounding lines, REACH legislation and the importance of colour in buying decisions.

Industry Presentations There will also be more than 20 presentations covering the latest technology developments and industry trends. Topics being covered include market analysis, regulatory issues, process optimisation, reactive extrusion, quality control, carrier resins, nanotechnology, conductive compounds, and advances in a wide range of additives including carbon black, flame retardants, functional fillers and compatibilizers.
