BSNLEU Patiala conducted a well organised District Conference at Shirhind7th District Conference of BSNL Employees Union, Patiala SSA concluded at Shirhind, the historical city, where two younger sons of tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh, Baba Fateh Singh and Baba Zorawar Singh aged 7 and 9 years were bricked alive in the presence of the Suba Sirhind, Wazir Khan. The Conference started after paying homage to the departed imminent personalities and leaders of trade union movement including Com. S.R Nayak, circle secretary, BSNLEU, Madhya Pradesh.Com. N.P Sharma, District Secretary presented report on trade union activity, since last district conference and Com. Ram Dev presented accounts report, both the reports were accepted unanimously by the house. Very lively discussions took place. Circle Secretary Com. Balbir Singh replied all the queries raised by the delegates. Circle Secretary invited each & every member to the felicitation function being organised in honour of Com. P. Abhimanyu, G.S BSNLEU & Com. R.L. Moudgill AGS & Circle President BSNLEU, who retired on superannuation on 31-12-2013, Punjab at Chandigarh on 27-01-2014. New District team of office bearers lead by Com. Varinder Shrama, N.P. Sharma & Com Uttam Chand as District president, District Secretary, & District Treasurer respectively was elected unanimously.
