Non-Conductive Sealing Elastomer Sealing elastomer is a polymer material with excellent flexibility, scalability and electrical insulation properties. With small elastic modulus, high elongation, good resistance to air permeability, resistance to various chemical dielectric and electrical insulation properties, sealing elastomer by Nystein is developed for shock absorption, sealing, flexing, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, insulation and other needs. Silicone elastomer can be mixed or blended with other materials and made into synthetic elastomer with different performance and costs, resistant to bending and bending deformation. In accordance with different application needs and the environment, Nystein has developed a series of materials for customers to choose. The differences in physical and chemical properties of series of products are demonstrated in temperature resistance, resilience, insulation, oil resistance, pressure resistance, wear resistance and so on. Non-conductive sealing elastomer is usually installed as a filler gasket between the metal and the shell. The main role of elastomer gasket is to make the enclosure, gaskets and cover plate excellently sealed to prevent dust, liquid or gas from penetrating into the product. Product Description SR300 is a wide operating temperature range non-conductive sealing elastomer developed by Nystein. It can stand low temperature at -70for extended period. with its tensile strength, elongation at break and hardness remaining almost the same as in room temperature. This military-grade product has been used in a large-scale in defense and industrial products. Nystein often requests a series of reliability testing by third parties to verify its performance. SR280 is a modified EPDM sealing elastomer, and has been greatly improved in anti-

aging performance. As a low-density filling material, SR280 has stable performance and

is for all-weather conditions, resistant to heat, vapor and ozone, with good color stability;

it is able to work under high load at 120℃ high temperature, with instantaneous ambient

temperature of 150 - 200℃. With lack of polarity, low degree of unsaturation, is

resistance to a variety of polar chemicals such as alcohols, acids, alkalis, oxidants,

refrigerants, detergents, animal fat and vegetable oils and ketones.

SR280 Series:

To meet the application needs in different fields, Nystein is able to completely

customize material formulations to satisfy specific requirements in temperature,

flexibility, oil resistance, color and cost. There are a wide range of selection in this

section; designated material number for specific material is indicated as SR1xx.
