Individual plant designs

x-tec does not design and build ready-

made plants. Each mixing plant for mineral

building materials is designed individually

for the respective purpose and the required

performance. With this, logistics and proc-

esses are optimised. Through the diligent

choice of components and construction

techniques the building and operation of a

plant ends up being particularly cost effec-

tive.

Higher efficiency through on site produc -tion

Long transport of fresh concrete is an essen-

tial cost factor. Especially for applications

with shorter construction time, or travelling

construction sites, x-tec designs and builds

mobile plants.

According to local requirements, mobile

plants have an increasing importance in

road construction. Stationary concrete

pumps, combined with permanently

installed pressure pipes, allow to cover sec-

tions of more than 300m with concrete from

one location.

After termination of the construction sec-

tion, the concrete plant is transferred to

a new position. The mixing system has an

axle with twin wheels. Because of this, the

relocation times are reduced to only 1-2

days.

The production range of mobile plants is

60-100 m3/h. Despite this high mobility, all

kinds of concrete can be produced and

up to four cement weighing silos can be

connected to the plant. Also, if required,

the aggregate storage capacity can be

increased.

x-tec Practical Examples:

Production on time:Independent concrete supply of big con -struction sites.

For big construction sites with high con-

crete requirements it pays to produce con-

crete on site. A concrete plant on site cre-

ates maximum flexibility. According to the

demands of the work, large amounts of

concrete can be produced in short periods

of time. For jobs of more than 12 months,

x-tec has developed a special plant con-

cept that not only ensures high perform-

ance, but also easy relocation of the plant

to another site.

The arrangement of the plant components

can be adapted ideally to the require-

ments. According to demand, hourly pro-

duction of 90 to 240 m3/h is achieved. The

entire plant is winter proof, which allows

production year-round. For the summer

operation, cold water, ice water and chip

ice plants are offered.

Modular Plants

Low construction costs through lower construction heights

The availability of sufficient installation

space and real estate costs are essential

criteria for the selection of a plant con-

cept. Compared to tower plants, horizon-

tal plants are more economical as they

require lower construction heights and the

heavy loads are not stacked vertically.

Horizontal plants can be installed with

direct wheel loader charging, which saves

costs. It also saves construction efforts.

The productive capacity of horizontal

plants ranges between 60 and 240 m3/h.

Storage capacity, supply with aggregates

and cement weighing is adapted to the

plant. The operation in winter is ensured

with adequate equipment (insulation, heat-

ing).

High performance andecological construction concept

For the construction of tower plants only a

little space is required for installation.

The offer a lot of economical advan-

tages in regions with year-round produc-

tion. Often, they also offer advantages in

licensing procedures from the authorities.

Because of their construction concept, and

an entirely enclosed type of construction,

they achieve particularly low emission val-

ues and are therefore ecological.

x-tec tower plants are designed and built

for a production range of 80 to 240 m3/h as

single or multi-mixer plants.

The planning of the storage capacity for

cement weighing, aggregates and addi-

tives can be adapted to individual needs.

x-tec tower plants are also winter-proof.

x-tec Practical examples:

The homogenisation of the concrete com-

ponents usually needs a longer mixing proc-

ess than ready-mix concrete. Essentially

important for that is the moisture measuring.

Therefore x-tec offers solutions for a precise

measuring of the moisture in the mixer. Con-

sequently, the size and capacity of the mixer

are carefully selected according to the prod-

uct range. Especially for large format con-

struction parts, self compacting concretes

provide great potential efficiency.

Special constructions and individual project planning

Concrete plants are the heart of pre-cast-

ing, concrete block and concrete product

plants. They are planned according to indi-

vidual requirements. The concrete produc-

tion is perfectly integrated into the produc-

tion process and can be efficiently linked

with other parts of the plant. For this, the

efficient material flow and the control of the

plant are especially important.

A precondition for the economical production of con-

crete is the productivity of the entire plant. For that it is

important that all parts of the plant and the technical

standards are perfectly matched. Therefore the substitu-

tion of technical components can lead to more reliability

or increase of the capacity.
