Project Description: Pilbara Minerals’ 100%-owned Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum Project, located 120km from Port Hedland in Western Australia’s resource-rich Pilbara region, is one of the biggest new lithium ore (spodumene) deposits in the world, with a globally significant hard rock spodumene resource.

The Project is readily accessible by road, with relatively simple access to existing infrastructure (including downstream port facilities) at the existing port of Port Hedland. Whittens’ scope of work involves concrete construction of Primary / Secondary Crushing, Tertiary Crushing (Wet Screening), Wet Processing, Spodumene Concentration Dressing and Processing Plant Services.

Project: Bow River Replacement BridgeClient: Brosna Construction Pty LtdSector: Infrastructure

Project Description: Jointly funded by the Australian and State Governments, the Bow River Bridge project will see the existing single-lane bridge over Bow River in the Kimberley region replaced with a two-lane bridge. The existing single-lane low-level bridge was built in 1965 and is frequently over-topped by flood waters, cutting off the only sealed access between Broome and Wyndham. The project will provide increased employment opportunities and a more reliable road network for the Kimberley region.
