THE MUSICIAN
Matthew Marshall
Described as "... a guitarist of superb technical accomplishment and a musician of perception and style" Matthew Marshall is one of NZ's leading classical guitarists. In a performing career spanning over 30 years, Matthew has brought his unique interpretation to over 2000 performances on four continents from Iceland to Siberia and to Easter Island. His fourth solo album Fragments was a �nalist in the Best Classical Artist category of the 2020 Aotearoa Music Awards. www.matthewmarshallguitar.com
THE ARTIST
Sir Jon Trimmer trained with Yvonne Rust at Wellington Technical College Art School and has been a painter for as long as he has been a dancer. He has performed with Dame Margot Fonteyn, Rudolf Nureyev and Erik Bruhn. He was knighted in 1999 for his services to New Zealand ballet.
