About Federal Academy of BalletFederal Academy of Ballet was founded in 1967 by Lee Lee Lan, with its very first

students taking their lessons in a church and school hall. Today, there are five

branches throughout the Klang Valley. With dedicated teachers and loyal

students, FAB remains an icon as one of Malaysia's top dance schools. Many of

the Academy’s students have studied at distinguished foreign dance schools

such as the Royal Ballet School. Some have won well-earned scholarships from

Bush Davies, Central School of Ballet, Urdang Academy, Victoria College of the

Arts (VCA), Australian Ballet and the London Studio Centre. We are dedicated to

raising the standard of dance, both in performance and instruction. Our bi-

annual concerts and showcases offer students an opportunity to perform and

hone their stage presence and the experience of being involved in a major

production -- should they choose to pursue a career in performing arts.

About Community Transformation InitiativeCommunity Transformation Initiative Berhad (CTI) is a non-profit organisation

set up to empower the vulnerable community towards dignity and fullness of

life through holistic community development. The increasing cost of living and

the complexity of social issues result in many families struggling to provide for

their families and to raise their children in a positive and protected

environment. At FAB, we believe in providing a holistic environment for children

to learn and grow and through our contribution, we hope that more families will

be able to provide basic necessities to their children so they will be able to grow

and develop as wholesome individuals.

Concert 2019 Details:Date: 6th & 7th July 2019 (Saturday & Sunday)Venue: PJ Civic Centre Auditorium

The concert will feature students from our academy doing individual dances as

well as a mini production of Don Quixote during the second half of the

performance. Our students have been rehearsing every weekend since February

in preparation for this mini-production.

About Don QuixoteDon Quixote is a ballet about a misguided love story involving four characters,

Don Quixote, Dulcinea, Kitri and Basilio. It is based on a book - Don Quixote de

la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes.

Production costs to be around RM50,000. As such, we hope you will be able to

Community Transformation Initiative to help fund their work towards helping
