Concept Design One proposes to u lise the three sec ons of Centenary Reserve currently divided by footpaths as dis nct ac vity zones: • The central area, currently with play equipment will become the junior aged (toddlers) play area, with new play equipment, natural play such as

tree logs and addi onal garden beds.• The grassed sec on closest to the light-rail is proposed as an exercise and fi tness area with landscaping.• The large grassed area bordered by Princes and Swallow Streets with picnic facili es, older children’s (school age) play equipment, garden beds

and retaining a grassed area for ball games. • Addi onal landscaping will include predominantly na ve shrubs and groundcovers with some drought tolerant exo c species and addi onal

trees for shade.

Fencing - New fencing will extend around the corner to increase safety for children playing ball-games .

Raised Vegetable Garden beds - Communal veggie & herb garden beds to be installed for a trial period.

Barbecue & Picnic Area - including BBQ, picnic table and benches, drinking fountain and a table-tennis table located in the vicinity of the sub-sta on.

Mural for Substa on - an ar sts mural to be painted on the substa on building walls.

Seats and Bins - Addi onal rubbish bins and seats throughout the reserve.
