Gas Rotary Meter Flange-to-Flange Dimensions

11

• According to the latest revision an approved (1/16”) thick gasket material must be used for the flange to flange connection.

• Dimensions must be held and variations can’t be made using different thickness for gaskets.

• When rotary meters are bolted in with incorrect flange to flange dimensions, excessive stress is put on the aluminum case causing impellers to bind. Corrective action is needed to fix damaged meters.

Elevated Delivery Pressure

– A delivery pressure >7’’ WC (1/4 psig) is used by costumer equipment.
