o Keystroke to check battery status• Batteries last 2 – 3 hours only, then computer
shuts down• At end, put it back, plug it in, check for orange light

• A screen shot is a picture of the computer screen.
• You will be asked to make screen shots for homework and on quizzes and exams.
• Two steps:o Copy the screen to the Clipboard by tapping
the <PrintScreen> keyo Paste the screen shot into Word to save
and/or print.

• The Clipboard? What is that?o A virtual place to hold information. When you
Cut or Copy, that information goes to the Clipboard.
• Steps:1. Tap <PrintScreen> key (may be abbreviated)
2. Start Word
3. Change Page Setup to Landscape
4. Paste (keystroke or button on ribbon)
