Comprehensive Screening Camp was organized at Mahaveer Bhawan Gwalior. Around 1000 patients were

screened for different eye diseases. Around 237 Cataract Surgeries, 87 Diabetic Retinopathy cases and

53 Glaucoma cases were identified and referred to Ratan Jyoti Netralaya for further interventions.

Free Glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Camps were organized at Gwalior, Datia, Jhansi and

Shivpuri, in association with Rotary Club and other social organizations. The aim of the intervention is to

create awareness about these 3rd and 4th leading causes of blindness other than Cataract. More than 2000

patients were screened through these camps and more than 200 cases were identified who were suffering

from Glaucoma and Diabetic Retinopathy. All cases were referred to Ratan Jyoti Netralaya Gwalior for

further medical and surgical interventions.

Aorund 500 patients were examined and 160 cases were

referred to Ratan Jyoti Netralaya for free surgical

interventions.

Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Camp in association

with IMA Gwalior organized at Ratan Jyoti Netralaya

Gwalior on occasion of World Diabetes Day.

Blindness Awareness Program conducted at District

Magistrate Office for their staff and their

dependents followed by Free Eye Screening.

Diabetic Retinopathy and Glaucoma Screening Camp in

association with Rotary Club was organized at Shivpuri.

Free Diabetic Retinopathy and Glaucoma Screening

Camp was organized for Staff and their dependents

of Gwalior Collector Office.

Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram Camp organized at

District Hospital Gwalior, Morena, Bhind, Datia, Guna,

Ashok Nagar, Shivpuri and Sheopur for Congenital Eye

and Health Diseases. Around 1500 Pediatric cases were

screened and 150 cases were referred to Ratan Jyoti

Netralaya.

Dholpur performed through Rajakheda Camp

Free Cataract Screening and Blindness Awareness

Program were conducted at Rajakheda, Dist. Dholpur.

Around 2000 patients were screened and 250 Cataract

cases were selected for free surgeries and 687 free

spectacles were dispensed to poor and needy people.

Free Pediatric Screening program for Congenital Eye and

Health Diseases held at District Hospital Bhind. Around

200 children were screened and 50 cases were referred

to Ratan Jyoti Netralaya for various medical and surgical

interventions.

On occasion of World Glaucoma Week, a Rally and CME

was organized to create awareness amongst community

about this 4th leading cause of Blindness. The event came

to an end with Free Glaucoma screening camp conducted

at Ratan Jyoti Netralaya.

Under the National Program for Control of Childhood

Blindness around 10000 students from various schools

of Gwalior are screened every year for different ocular

diseases. This year around 10153 students from Delhi

Public School, Gwalior Glory School, Bhartiyam Vidya

Niketan, Saraswati Shishu Mandir and Woodstock are

screened under this program.

An event with the name ‘Aabhar’ was organized by Ratan

Jyoti Charitable Foundation at Mahaveer Bhawan

Kampoo to honor all camp organizers who put their

efforts to eradicate avoidable blindness in the region.

A workshop on Eye Care was organized by Ratan Jyoti

Charitable Foundation for the students of Delhi Public

School. Dr. Manish Panday, Director, Glaucoma Dept.

conducted the program.

An Awareness Rally was conducted by Ratan Jyoti

Charitable Foundation on occasion of World Glaucoma

week to create awareness amongst the community about

Glaucoma.

Free Comprehensive Eye Screening Camp was organized

at Agrawal Dharamshala Dholpur. Around 300 patients

were screened and 87 free cataract surgeries were

performed from the camp.

Free Comprehensive Eye Screening Camp was organized

at Bhander Dist. Datia. Around 250 patients were

screened and 62 Free Cataract surgeries were

performed from the camp.

Free Comprehensive Eye Screening Camp was organized

at Antri Village. Around 200 patients were screened

during the camp and 86 patents were referred to Ratan

Jyoti Netralaya for further interventions.

Free Comprehensive Eye Screening Camp was organized at

Malanpur in association with Crompton Greaves Pvt. Ltd.

Around 400 patients were screened during the camp and 102

Late. Shri T.R. Bhasin Memorial Free Comprehensive

Eye Screening Camp was organized at Ratan Jyoti

Netralaya. Around 200 patients were screened during

the camp.

Free Comprehensive Eye Screening Camp was organized

at Agro Solvent Industries Datia. Around 450 patients

were screened during the camp and 98 Free cataract

surgeries performed.
