APIQR ISO 9001 Registration

The API Monogram Program was introduced in 1924, and today lists more than 3,400 licensed manufacturers of such diverse products as pipe, valves, wellheads, blowout preventers, cement, and cranes covering 75 API product specifications. Look for more API product specifications to join the program this year. The API Monogram Program is an international program with over 80 percent of licensees based outside of the United States. All licensed facilities, along with the products they are licensed for, are listed in this publication. The API Quality Registrar (APIQR) assists organizations in streamlining the maintenance of multiple management system requirements often required of manufacturers. An APIQR Dual Registered organization can meet both API Monogram and ISO 9001 requirements, reduce the total number of audits, trim redundancies, and increase efficiencies. 75 percent of APIQRs ISO 9001 clients are based outside of the United States, proving its strong support internationally. APIQR also provides API Spec Q1 registration, an API management system registration for companies that produce API or non-API products for the oil and natural gas industry. And new for 2012, APIQR now offers API Spec Q2 registration. Q2 was developed to provide QMS requirements for service supply companies. Since a clean environment is important to everyone, APIQR offers environmental management system registration to ISO 14001. In addition, APIQR offers the ISO sector-specific management standard dedicated to the oil and natural gas industry, ISO/TS 29001. APIQR also offers OHSAS 18001, which is an international occupational health and safety management system certification. APIQR is the worlds first and largest registrar to offer registration to oil and natural gas equipment manufacturers and service providers that are up to the challenge of meeting this new international standard. The API Training Provider Certification Program (TPCP) was developed to help users of industry training choose from the best. If you provide or use training based on API standards or recognized international standards, TPCP identifies those courses providing consistent quality and integrity. Training programs for all industry segments, including exploration and production, refining, pipelines, and marketing can participate in TPCP. Finally, the API Perforator Design Registration Program strengthens the credibility of recorded and reported test data from the developers of Perforator System Designs. The program is based on test procedures found in API Recommended Practice 19B, Recommended Practice for Evaluation of Well Perforators. All organizations registered to one or more of these API Certification Programs are listed in this publication. Workhard.Worksmart.Work safe.API has a way for operators to make sure their workers and contractors have been trained to industry safety standards. Workers and contractors who participate just may gain the competitive edge theyve been looking for. Its called API WorkSafe. API WorkSafe is a web-based program that includes training modules and a qualification exam all based on API safety documents. Applicants who pass the exam receive a Safety Key wallet card with a unique personal identification code that operators can use to verify qualification online or by phone.

The first program offered by API WorkSafe is a service station contractor safety qualification program that identifies contractor personnel who have passed a standardized examination covering the latest service station industry safety practices, based on API Recommended Practice 1646. The second program offered by API WorkSafe is for workers on an E&P onshore operations site. It provides training on key safety issues found at onshore job sites and includes an examination covering industry safety practices, based on the API E&P Onshore Operations Safety Handbook.
