RCC Bridge Rokhan With the financial assistance of European Union, Sarhad Rural Support Programme constructed a RCC Bridge in Village Rokhan, Union Council Dir Urban in Upper Dir district under the Programme for Economic Advancement and Community Empowerment (PEACE). The total cost incurred on project is 1,165,400 PKR (donor share is 1,054,700 PKR and community share is 110,700 PKR) benefiting 1,205 households of Rokhan and Mirash Paty villages. The bridge will provide locals with an easy access to Dir Town as they had to wade in water while accessing Dir Town. Besides Rokhan, the people of MirashPaty (a village located on the other side of hills of Rokhan) will also benefit from the scheme as they also use the same route. The RCC bridge replaced a wooden one, which had already collapsed during torrential rains
