labelling obligation throughout the

Eu applies to tyres. This obligates

dealers to place a label directly on

the tyre which gives information about

three product characteristics in a

standardised form:

• Fuel efficiency in 6 classes

• Wet grip in 5 classes

• External rolling noise in decibels (dB).

You can find the values for the relevant tyres at the end of this brochure – clearly presented – in the form of a table.

however, a considerably more comprehensive decision-making

aid when making a purchase is still provided by independent tyre

tests since these painstakingly test the performance of a tyre in a

number of categories and in comparison with other test products.

The individual results are summarised by an overall assessment.

This is why you find current test judgements on all tyres in this

brochure, where available.
