1 Required Configuration

Compleo Gateway works with the following configurations:

Compleo Gateway also works with many other office and email applications. Please

contact the Symtrax Technical Support for more information.

Important Note:

1. We recommend you to first uninstall the previous version of Symtrax product, if

any, and then proceed to re-install the new version.

2. For Compleo Gateway to support Chinese, Japanese or Korean characters, the

supplemental language support of Windows must be installed.

3. To work with BC-XOM, the supervisor service should have access to the folder

\\Sapserver\sap\InstanceName\DVEBMGS00\data under the name BCXOM_Data.

So the shared folder would appear as \\Sapserver\BCXOM_Data for the BC-XOM

connector to be able to communicate with your SAP systems.


2 Firewall Settings

The below mentioned ports need to be opened for some features of Compleo Gateway to

work:

1. Supervisor Server:

i. 445 and 8785

ii. ICMP protocol must be enabled

iii. SAP Virtual Printer: 515

2. iSeries Server:

i. Using ICASRV: 2336 and 2337

ii. Restoring a library on the iSeries: 1054

3. SAP BC-XOM Server: 33xx, where xx = xx of sapgwxx (SAP gateway service) and

4. SMTP Server: 25


3 Compleo Gateway Installation

Step 1

Rights required to install Compleo Gateway

You can install Compleo Gateway from any profile. It will prompt you for the

administrator password when you use a profile other than the Administrator profile to

install Compleo Gateway.

Step 2

Choose Language

Follow the installation program instructions step by step.

Select the language you prefer and Click “OK”.

Step 3

.NET Framework Installation

If .NET Framework 4.0 is already installed, jump to step 4.

If .NET Framework 4.0 is not installed you have to install the .NET framework

included in the Compleo Gateway package as shown below.

Click "Install" to proceed.


Step 4

Read the welcome note and accompanied information carefully

Read the information carefully and if satisfied with it, click "Next" to proceed.

Step 5

Accept the terms of the Compleo Gateway License Agreement

Accept the license agreement and click "Next" to proceed.


Step 6

Select a Destination Location to install the Compleo Gateway

By default, the application will be installed in C:\Program Files\Symtrax\Compleo

Suite\.

To change the folder location, click "Change" and select a folder where you want the

application to be installed.

Click "Next" to proceed.

Step 7

Start Installation


Click "Install" to start the Installation.

Step 8

Finish Installation

Click "Finish" to complete the installation.

The PC installation of Compleo Gateway is complete!

You can access the program as follows:

Start ► All Programs ►Symtrax ► Compleo Suite.


4 Silent Install

For silent installation, open a command prompt and go to a folder where

“CompleoGateway.exe” is located.

CompleoGateway.exe/s/v/qn/v

INSTALLDIR=\"C:\TESTINSTALL\"" /DEBUGLOG"CS.LOG"

INSTALLDIR=\”…\”(Change the destination directory for installation – Default is

<%systemDrive%>\Program Files\SYMTRAX\Compleo Suite for x86 machines and is

<%systemDrive%>\Program Files (x86)\SYMTRAX\Compleo Suite for x64 machines)

DEBUGLOG makes the log file of the install in the directory where the install program is

located.


5 System I library Installation

Step 1

Rights required to install the Compleo Suite System I Connector

You can install the Compleo Suite System I Connector with any profile. It will prompt you

for the administrator password when you use a profile other than the Administrator

profile to install the Compleo Suite System I Connector.

Step 2

Run the file CPSuite4_i5.exe

► Please note that you only have to restore System I libraries once and that ONE

System I installation allows you to install client programs on ALL client PCs.

The CPSuite4_i5.exe is located in the directory you chose to Install Compleo Gateway.

In the chosen directory, you will find this file in \Connectors.

NOTE: If you had chosen the default location, then you will find the file in

C:\Program Files\Symtrax\Compleo Suite\Connectors.

Double click on the file to begin installation.

Step 3

Run the CPSuite4_i5.exe

Follow the installation program instructions step by step.

Click "Start Installation" to proceed to the next step.


Step 4

Once you have accepted the terms and conditions of the license, please select

your connection type:

Connection Type:

If you are using Client Access with TCP/IP, select the TCP/IP option.

If you are using Client SNA Server, select the SNA Server option.

In any other case, check which router you have installed on your PC

before installing this product.

Note: As a general rule, when using a terminal emulation with TCP/IP, select the TCP/IP

option.

If you are unsure, please check with your system administrator.

System Address: If you are using TCP/IP, this is the IP address of the System I . To

find out the IP address of the System I, enter the following command:

NETSTAT *IFC

For any other type of connection, this is the Default Local Location. To find out what

your Default Local Location is, enter the following command:

DSPNETA

FTP Port (TCP/IP only): The FTP Port is 21 by default.



Step 5

Enter the necessary information regarding the connection

User profile and Password to restore the libraries: A profile which has the authority

to restore libraries to the System I must be used (must have *AllObj and *SecAdm

authority), preferably QSECOFR.


Step 6

Select the libraries you want to install

The CPSUITE4 library that is to be installed on the System I can be renamed. It is

however not recommended, except in exceptional circumstances.



Step 7

Update the ICASRV library

If you are already using Symtrax products and if the ICASRV library already exists on the

System I, you will need to replace it with this up to date version.

In this case, a dialog box is displayed prompting you to confirm whether the ICASRV

library is to be replaced:

Choose Yes: The ICASRV sub-system is stopped, updated and then restarted.

Warning: All the users connected to ICASRV will be disconnected.


Step 8

Enter the password

Enter the password you have been given and then click OK.

Enter the password for the System I driver that has been sent to you. You can modify it

at anytime on the System I by entering the command “CALL CPSUITE4/PWDCPS”.

Important note:

If ICASRV did not restart correctly, start it through the command:

STRSBS ICASRV/ICASRV

(Note: Use the QSECOFR profile)

If the password was not entered correctly, enter it using the command:

CALL CPSUITE4/PWDCPS


Step 9

Preparing to install

Click "Close".

The System I installation of SYMOLEDB is complete!

Important note: In Compleo Gateway, when you create a new connection do not use

the QSECOFR profile.


6 SAP Server Configuration

6.1 SAP Permissions necessary for Connector setup and usage

Here is the following list of authorization objects you need to assign to an SAP user for

the Compleo Suite application to work seamlessly.

6.2 Installing on a SAP R/3 4.7 or SAP ERP ECC6 System

Minimum Requirement

Add-on Installation Tool must be at least of version 0021.

For ECC 6.0, Release 700, software components SAP_ABA and SAP_BASIS must be

at least of level 0019 + SAP Note 1504120.

For R/3 Enterprise 4.7

Unicode System: components SAP_ABA and SAP_BASIS must be at least of level 0069

or level 0068 + SAP Note 1504120.

Non Unicode System: components SAP_ABA and SAP_BASIS must be at least of level

0065

Note:

For software components of SAP_ABA and SAP_BASIS lower than the levels stated

above, please check the pre requisites of SAP Note 1504120.

If the SNC login feature is setup on the SAP system, and if the Remote Agent feature of

Compleo Suite will be used in order to send printed documents back to the end users,

then it is necessary to setup the function “ZBC_COMPLEO_USER_GET_SNC” in the SAP

system.

Step 1A

Copy the Using the PAT files

Copy the PAT file in the EPS Inbox of the SAP server (By default the EPS inbox is:

\\SAPServername\sapmnt\trans\EPS\in)


NOTES:

1. The PAT will be located in the directory you chose to Install Compleo Gateway.

In the chosen directory, you will find this file in \Connectors. If you had

chosen the default location, then you will find the file in C:\Program

Files\Symtrax\Compleo Suite\Connectors.

2. Select either SAP R/3 4.7 or SAP ECC6 depending on the type of SAP

system you have installed. If you are installing the connector for the first time

then use PAT file in the Install folder. If you have used the previous version

of connector then use the PAT file in the Upgrade folder.

Step 1A-1

Log on to the SAP Server

Log on as a developer on the SAP GUI, Client 800.

In the SAP GUI invoke transaction: SAINT

In the menu choose:

Installation Package ► Load Package ► From Application Server

Then choose YES.


Step 1A-2

Upload Successful

Once the PAT package is successfully uploaded, you should see a confirmation screen

shown below:

Then click Back and Start as shown in the screen shot below.

Jump to Step 2.


Step 1B

Using the CAR files

Installation Package ► Load Package ► From Front End.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Symtrax\Compleo Gateway\Connectors\SAP ECC6\Install

Select the SYMTRAX_5202_700.CAR and click Open.


Click Allow.

Click on “Decompress” to unarchive the PAT file to desired location in SAP server i.e.

EPS/IN folder.


The PAT file is copied in \usr\sap\trans\EPS\in folder.

Step 2

Choosing the Add-on Package

Select the Add-on SYMTRAX

Click Continue to Proceed.


Click Continue to proceed.

Click Continue to proceed.


Step 3

Installing the Add-on Package

You will see the following screen to confirm the package installation procedure.

Finally click the Check mark (highlighted in the screenshot above) to install Compleo

Suite Sap Connector.

Step 4

Finalizing the Installation of SAP Connector

Once the installation is completed, you will see the following screen

Click Finish.

Compleo Suite SAP Connector is now installed on your system!!


7 Uninstall

7.1 System I Libraries Uninstall

End the ICASRV sub-system (if you are connecting with TCP/IP) with the following

command:

ENDSBS SBS(ICASRV) OPTION(*IMMED)

Delete the ICASRV with the following command:

DLTLIB ICASRV

Delete the product library with the following command:

DLTLIB CPSUITE4

Compleo has been uninstalled from the System I .

Note: If ICASRV has been added to the start list of subsystems, then the System I

administrator should remove that entry.

7.2 PC Uninstall

To uninstall Compleo Gateway, follow

Start ► Control Panel ►Programs and Features► Symtrax – Compleo Gateway

► Uninstall

This will uninstall Compleo Gateway from your PC.
