Performers in the open division should prepare a 30 minute program, and performers in youth divisions should prepare 10 minute program. The preliminary round in the open division will be 10 minutes. The semifinal round in the open division will be a maximum of 18 minutes per competitor. The final round in the open division will be a maximum of 20 minutes. Finalists may repeat a maximum of 10 minutes of repertory from previous rounds. Youth divisions competition will be only one round. All repertory in all divisions is free choice. There is no special category prize this year. Competitors exceeding the time limit will be stopped without penalty. The first six registered competitors interested in performing in a master class will be selected. Due to time restrictions, only the first 30 applicants will be allowed to compete in the open division. Registration priority deadline is Friday October 15th, after which competitors will be charged a $25 late registration fee. Cancellation policy: if canceled by October 23, 2015 full refund minus cancellation fee will be given. After October 23 there will be no refund. Prize winners must have a US Social Security number or Taxpayer Identification number to receive payment. All pieces must be performed on a nylon‑string classical guitar. Competition Guidelines

Competition is open to all classical guitarists not represented by professional management.
