Identifying Low-Income Areas

Area Median Income (AMI) for Households in the 10-County Atlanta Region = $56,225

30% below AMI = Low-Income.

50% below AMI = Very Low-Income.

80% below AMI = Extremely Low-Income.

Identifying Equitable Target Areas (ETA)

ETAs are based on five parameters: seniors, poverty, minorities, education attainment and median housing values.

Areas with an ETA index 10-17 are identified as ETA Communities.
