COMPANYFor almost 85 years, HOLINGER has been solving engi-neering and scientific challenges. We are present in 20 countries and complete about 1600 projects per year. To-day, approximately 400 employees build on this vast expe-rience in consulting and in the planning and implementa-tion of projects in various fields. We are a one stop shop: generalists and specialists, researchers and practitioners all combine their extensive knowledge and experience to create ground-breaking concepts. Thus, we implement cost-effective and ecologically forward-looking solutions based around resource-saving processes and techniques.

ORGANISATIONThe HOLINGER Board and Management are responsible for the sustainable development of the company and determine the strategy for innovation and growth. The local offices are networked into regions and have entre-preneurial flexibility. So they can adapt to local market re-

EMPLOYEE FIGURESHOLINGER AG employs over 321 employees with diverse training in different disciplines. We have 203 employees with university-level degrees (ETH, university, technical university), 13 graduates from technical school, 10 trained site managers, 42 draftsmen-designers, 3 wastewater treatment plant operators, 28 commercial employees, 4 IT staff and 18 apprentices. We further strengthen our interdisciplinary project teams with freelancers.

TRAINEES AND APPRENTICESHOLINGER regularly trains engineering draftsmen and computer system engineers to federal diploma standards. Where possible we offer a job to those who want to stay with HOLINGER after completion of their training. We also maintain regular contact with universities and research institutions and contribute to student’s educa-tion: We support Bachelor›s and Master›s theses and offer work placements lasting several months, where students can gain their first practical experience.

QUALITY ASSURANCEHOLINGER actively pursues quality assurance. We focus on the needs, desires and challenges of our customers and on generating added value benefits. Our employees are cost, quality and risk-conscious. Our philosophy is to be always learning and improving. Our high quality stand-ards are maintained by adhering to official standards. We also monitor quality with an internal platform that supports the definition and maintenance of standards, procedures and controls and promotes active knowledge management methods. HOLINGER has been ISO 9001 quality management certified for many years.

INTERNAL CONTROL AND RISK MANAGEMENTIt goes without saying that we publish comprehensive financial reports and regular risk assessments with sup-porting documents for all areas of the company. Our risk map establishes the guidelines by which we assess the risks in all our activities and areas of business. In the spirit of transparency, we disclose both our risk assessment process and the relevant risks.
