LPG,LNG PUMP AND

ITS PERFORMANCE TEST

Adjacent to the tank at the receiving

terminal, transfer pump is installed and

LPG, LNG are pumped out.

The Pump side of the LPG transfer

pump(STT) is submerged in the LPG

of the Barrel, and the electric motor is

installed on the upper side of the

barrel cover.

On the other hand, in case of the LNG

transfer pump (SMB), electric motor is

also submerged in the LNG of the

barrel together with the pump side.

The cargo pump (SM) for LNG Carrier,

both electric motor and pump are

submerged in the Tank.

For the cargo pump (ST) for product

carrier, the deepwell type of which the

electric motor is installed on the tank

top is adopted.

Twin screw pump assures reliable operation

and a long life because through the pump is

positive displacement type but its rotating

elements are not contracting with each other

in liquid and it doesn’t have danger with stick.

And the screws allow any combination of screw

pairs according to the required rotating direction

and discharge direction on standard shaft.

Further, this construction allows any material

combination.

Kosaka Three Spindle screw pump is rotary

and displacement type and has such

advantages as high operating efficiency,

quiet driving and reliability. This pump is

applied to oil pressure because of high

pressure and efficiency, to large volume of

lubricating oil and fuel oil transfer because of

large capacity, quiet and high efficiency, to

lubricating oil supply for turbine and water

pump with direct coupling of high speed

running available, and also to hydraulic line

and fuel oil burning system because of low

pulsation.

Performance is outstanding for self priming

and high viscosity. In the stability capacity,

the area of use is wise in the case as

transfer of water supply, sewage, sludge,

bilge, and food. It complies with the extensive

1. Due to using high precision filter ,reducing parts abrasion

caused by Silicon and Aluminum particles which come from FCC.

2. Two type filters which are auto back-wash filter and cubage fine filter

can be chosen as you please in order to meet all kinds of requirements

of engine and fuel oil.

3. HOMOGENIZER can be adopted in the fuel oil supply unit, so the

soft sludge in fuel oil can be refined, and fuel oil can be processed

into fine micro-particles. Thus well atomize fuel oil and improve combustion

of diesel engine and prevent fine filter from being clogging.

4 The artificial intelligence alarm system is controlled by PLC. Sound, light

and alarm text are displayed on LCD. While alarm occurring, crew can find

the problem as soon as possible through man-machine conversation system on LCD.
