The Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi is one of the main landmarks in the UAE.Covering an area of approximately 150 hectares, it serves an important role as theprimary governmental facility for receiving visiting dignitaries. It used to house theoffices of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His HighnessShaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of theUAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan,Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE, in additionto Cabinet Ministers.

The Emirates Palace is a luxury five star hotel in Abu Dhabi operated by Kempinskisince 2005. Its design is a playful mix of cherished Islamic architectural elementssuch as balance, geometry, proportions, rhythm and hierarchical emphasis to create aunified whole. The colour of the building aims to reflect different shades of sandsfound in the Arabian Desert

The original landmark palace was built in the 1960s to accommodate visiting heads ofstate. As part of the Kuwaiti government’s cultural project for renovation, the designwill retain the palace’s original character while incorporating contemporary additionsand meeting the highest international construction standards. The palace will reopenas a museum dedicated to the history of Kuwait told through its 15 rulers.PRECISE was appointed with the grand task of designing and supplying of exquisitecrystal models and exclusive merchandise for these prestigious landmarks.

In a magnificent new building located in Jumeirah, the Etihad Museum offers a series of interactive pavilions where visitors can explore the UAE’s history. Spread over 25,000 sqm, its unique curved white roof was inspired by the shape of the constitution. It’s also adorned with seven columns, which symbolize the pens used to sign the agreement.

In contrast to Etihad Museum’s modern design, the Shindagha Museum is a modest, two-storey dwelling home to the visionary Sheikh Saeed Al-Maktoum, ruler of Dubai from 1912-1958. After his death, it lay abandoned until it was demolished, rebuilt next to its original site and opened to the public as a museum in 1986. A proud reminder of Dubai’s pre-oil era, it houses some truly fascinating historical photographs, letters, maps, treaties, coins and stamps that breathe life into many aspects of the social, cultural and educational life of yesteryear.

PRECISE has been awarded to capture the spirit of these national heritage sites by creating exclusive merchandise which visitors can take home as mementos to remember their visit.
