HISTORYOFLEMONGRASSSPAPRODUCTSInthespringof2001,HeidiLeistwasinvitedtoafriend’shouseforasocialevent—aspaparty.Thehostesssharedherbottlesoflotionsandpotionswiththeguestsanddemonstratedhowtomakesomebathtreatsintheirownkitchens.Theladieslaughedwhilesharingstoriesofbeautyblunders.Everyonelovedtheparty!Theverynextday,Heidicalledthehostessofthepartyandaskedhertomeetasquicklyaspossible.Shehadbrainstormedabusinessideaandwantedtoshareitwithher.Theresearchbeganandwithinafewmonthshandmadebathproductsfilledtheirhomes.Eventhoughtheydecidednottocontinuethebusinessventureasapartnership,Heidicontinuedtoworkonherdream—toownherownbusinesssothatshecouldspendmoretimewithherhusbandandinfantdaughter.Mrs.HeidiLeisthadalwayslovedgoingtospasandindulgingintheirtreatments—searchingfornaturalwaystopamperherself.Aftertestingherhandmadeproductsonfriendsandfamilysheincorporatedhercompany,LemongrassSpaProducts,LLCinJuly2002.Afterseveralmonthsofdemonstratingathomeparties,Heidibeganrecruitingconsultantstosharetheproductswiththeirfriendsandfamilies.Thecompanyhasgrowntoover4500consultantsin50statesinfourteenyears.Withouruniqueproductlineandmarketingplan,wehopetobealeaderinthebathandbodyproductsindustry.Somedayourmotto,“Fresh,CleanandNatural”willbeinhomesallthroughoutthecountry!
BEHINDTHESCENESATLEMONGRASSSPAPRODUCTS LemongrassSpaProductsheadquartersandHomeOfficeislocatedinPine,Colorado,nestledinthemountainsapproximately25milessouthwestofDenver.WealsohaveaproductionandshippingfacilityinTarponSprings,Florida.MostoftheproductsthatLemongrasssellsaremadein-houseandtheothersareproducedbyprofessionalartisans(liquidsoap,lipgloss,mascara,shampoo).Ourproductsaremadeinsmallbatches.Weinsistononlythefinestnaturalveganoils,organicandwild-craftedessentialoilsandbotanicalsforuseinourhandmadeproducts!WhenwereceiveanorderviaouronlinesoftwaresystemourOrderFulfillmentTeampullstheitemsfromourproductshelves.Aftertheorderispulledfrominventory,itiscarefullypreparedforshipping.Anaddresslabelisattachedandthepackageisreadyfordeparture.OrdersaresentviaUPSgroundorUSPSPriorityMail.Ourgoalistofilltheorderandshipitwithin7businessdaysfromthedayyousubmittheorder.Wedependonoursalesconsultantstosubmitanaccurate,completeordersowecanmeetthisgoal.

PersonalCommission–Percentagepaidonpersonalretailsales.Theconsultantwillretainthiscommissionatthetimetheorderisplaced.Thepersonalcommissionforshoppingcartorderswillberebatedbacktotheconsultantwhencommissionsareprocessedeachmonth(viaelectronicdirectdeposit)onthe10thofthemonthforthepreviousmonth’sactivity.Retailsalesitemsincludefull-sizedproducts.TheConsultantSuccessKit,samplesandsuppliesdonotqualifytowardspersonalvolumeorcommission.
PersonalSalesVolumeBonus–Abonuspaidtoallconsultantswhentheirpersonalvolumeforthemonthis$1,500inretailsalesorhigher.PersonalSalesBonusisaddedtothecommissiondirectdepositeachmonthaconsultantqualifies.Examples:Aconsultantwith$1500insalesforthemonthwouldreceivea$75PersonalSalesVolumeBonus(5%x$1500)ontheircommissiondeposit.Aconsultantwith$2000insalesforthemonthwouldreceivea$100PersonalSalesVolumeBonus(5%x$2000)ontheircommissiondeposit.
SponsoringBonus–AbonuspaidtoallSeniorSalesConsultantsandhigherrankonthePVofallpersonallysponsoredSalesConsultantsorhigherrank.ASponsoringBonusispaidonlywhenthedirectrecruithasbeenbothenrolledandsponsoredbythequalifiedSr.SalesConsultantorhigherrank.InthecasewheretheHomeOfficeassignsanewconsultanttoyouasadirectrecruityouwillreceiveaSponsoringBonusontheirPV.Inthecasewhereaconsultanthas'rolledup'toyouduetoaconsultantinyourdownlinebecominginactive,aSponsoringBonusisnotawarded.InordertoqualifytoreceiveaSponsoringBonusatSCCtitleyourPVmustbe$150orhigherregardlessofgraceperiod.

IfaDirector,Sr.DirectororPremierDirectorfailstomeetthequalificationsforthree(3)consecutivemonthsthenachangeoftitlewillbereflectedinthesoftwareintheconsultant’sbackoffice.Consultantswillbepaid-atwhatevertitletheyqualifyforduringthelastmonthofthe3-monthperiodoftime.Theymayre-qualifyforatitleafterre-qualifyingfortwoconsecutivemonthsafterademotion.NoconsultantwillbeeligibleformorethanoneDirectorBonusof$1000intheirlifetimeormorethanoneSr.SalesConsultantPromotionBonus.IfanExecutiveDirectororhigherconsultantdoesnotmeettheirqualificationstheywillhavea6monthGracePeriodsolongastheyqualifyasapaid-atPremierDirectortitleorhigherduringthatGracePeriod.PersonalVolumerequirementsarenotwaivedfortheseExecutiveDirectororhighertitlesduringthegraceperiodinordertobe‘paid-at’theirlowertitletemporarily.
AConsultantmustbeActiveandmeetthequalificationsbelowtobepaidatthetitlethattheyqualifyforinthecurrentperiod.IfaConsultantdoesnotmeetthequalificationsoftheirtitle,theywillbepaidatthetitleforwhichtheydoqualify.Theconsultantmaymovebackuptothevacatedtitletheifqualificationsaremetatthattime.Example:ifaconsultantisqualifiedandpaidasaDirectorinAugustbutinSeptembershedoesnotqualifyforDirector,shewillbepaidasaSalesConsultantoraSr.SalesConsultantdependingonherperformanceinSeptember.HertitleinthesoftwarewillremainatDirectorbutshewillbepaidatthelowertitleinwhichshequalified.IfinOctobershemeetstherequirementsofDirector,shewillbepaidatDirectorinOctober.Ifshehasbeenpaidatthelowerrankingtitlefor3consecutivemonths,hertitlewillchangepermanentlyinthesoftwaresystemtothequalifying(paid-as)titleduringthelastmonthofthe3-monthperiod.Shewouldneedtore-qualifyasaDirectorwiththe2consecutivemonthqualificationstobepromotedtoDirectoragain.ShewouldnotbeeligibletoreceiveaDirector$1000bonusasecondtime.NorwouldshebeabletoreclaimaPass-ByDirector.

Promotionstakeeffectthefifthdayfollowingthequalifyingmonthwhenqualificationcriteriahavebeenmet.WhenaconsultantpromotestoDirectorfromaTeamLeadertitlethenewDirector’sTeamVolumerollsuplineforqualificationpurposesonly,duringthepromotionperiod(2months).ThenewDirectorispaidaTeamBonusontheirTeamVolumestartingthe2ndmonthinqualification.Thefirstuplinebreakaway’sTeamBonusnolongerincludesthenewbreakaway’sTeamVolume,however,thefirstuplinebreakaway(Sr.Directororhigher)willnowreceiveaGeneration1Overrideonthenewbreakaway’steam.Thebreakaway’senrollercanalsocountthenewbreakawayintheirActiveFirstLevelcount(AFL)forthepromotionperiodonly.IfaTeamLeaderwhoisqualifyingforpromotiontothelevelofDirectorandisalsopromotingaDirectorfromherteam,thetwoqualifyingDirectorscanqualifyusingthesameteamvolumeonlyduringthequalificationperiod.Forexample,ifaDirector(A)hastwoConsultants,orTeamLeader(B&C)whoarequalifyingtobecomeDirectorsinthesamemonth,assumingthatthefirstqualifier(B)isfirstleveltoDirector(A)andthat(B)sponsoredthesamequalifier(C).Themannerinwhichtheywouldpromotewouldbeasfollows:“C”willpromoteusingthevolumeoftheirteam.“B”willpromoteusingthevolumeoftheirteam,whichalsoincludestheteamvolumeof“C”.

AllactiveSalesConsultantsandaboveareeligibletoreceive25%personalcommissionsregardlessofsalesvolumeduringtheperiod.Personalcommissionsarepaidonthecommissionablevolumeofordersbasedonone’sfullyqualifiedtitlefortheperiod.
PersonalSalesBonus(PSB)SalesConsultantsandhigherrankswithatleast$1,500PVintheperiodareeligibletoreceivea5%PersonalSalesBonus(PSB)basedontheirtotalpersonalvolumeforthemonth.Bonusispaidbydirectdepositthatisonthe10thofthemonthfollowingthequalifyingmonth.(JulybonusissuedviaelectronicdepositonAugust10th).
SponsoringBonus(SB)QualifiedSeniorSalesConsultantsandaboveareeligibletoreceivea4%sponsoringbonusonthepersonalvolume(PV)ofallpersonallyenrolledandsponsoredConsultants.Thisispaidonallpersonallysponsoredconsultants,evenifthatconsultanthas‘passed-by’andisnolongerinyourfirstline.YoumustqualifyatSr.SalesConsultantleveltoearnthisbonus($150PV+1activeSCinthemonth).
IfaRepresentativeisnotActiveorisineligible,theSponsoringBonuswillnotroll-uptothenextActiveuplineRepresentative.Inotherwords,ifaconsultanthas'rolledup'toyouduetoaconsultantinyourdownlinebecominginactive,aSponsoringBonusisnotawardedtoyou.InordertoqualifytoreceiveaSponsoringBonusatSStitleyourPVmustbe$150orhigherregardlessofgraceperiodNewconsultantswhoareassignedtoaSr.ConsultantorhigherrankbytheHomeOfficeduetotheeffortsoftheHomeOfficestaffaretermed'assignments'.ConsultantsreceivesponsoringBonusesonassignments'PVandtheycanqualifyforTeamBonusonassignments'PVasaDirectororhigher.
