CONTRACTORS ALL RISKS (C.A.R.)

Contractors All Risks (often referred to as “CAR”) policies provides cover for sudden and accidental physical loss or damage that occurs to the property insured during the construction period.

PLANT ALL RISKS (PAR)

Our PAR insurance covers the insured on an “All Risks” basis for loss of or damage to the insured’s Plant and/or Equipment while in use, in transit, or being stored.

CYBER LIABILITY

Our cyber liability product is designed to help an organisation mitigate risk exposure by offsetting costs involved with recovery after a cyber-related security breach or similar event.

DIRECTORS & OFFICERS LIABILITY (D&O)

D&O Liability Insurance provides protection for the directors and officers of a company in the event of legal proceedings pertaining to the failure to perform duties as they relate to the company.

GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT

The policy can be tailored to suite the client’s needs. Cover includes death, hospitalisation, permanent and total disability, temporary and total disability, loss of income.

HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS(CLEAN-UP & SPILLAGE) - TRANSPORT

Indemnifies the insured against the cost of cleaning up a spill as well as any liabilities arising.

The Transport Clean-Up product provides comprehensive environmental cover for the transport of hazardous goods and potential pollutants. Cover includes clean-up and rehabilitation of the environment following a spillage from a vehicle. This offering has different options available for HCV’s, LDV’s, Sub-Contractors and Wholesaler’s.

HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS(CLEAN-UP & SPILLAGE) - SITE

Indemnifies the insured against the cost of cleaning up a spill as well as any liabilities arising.

The Site Clean-Up policy is designed to cover any facility where hazardous materials are stored. It is now a legal requirement to have this cover in force. Yard storage, warehouses, manufacturing concerns, and the like, require this cover. As a result, most business will have the need for this policy which will insure against clean-up costs and rehabilitation of the environment, and any liability arising.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETYINSURANCE (OHSI)

This policy covers the property owner or the body corporate against claims arising from damages caused by contractors whilst performing work on the insured’s premises. It also indemnifies the property owner against claims arising from damages incurred by contractors due to defaults in the property they are working on.

PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY (PI)

Professional Indemnity insurance covers legal costs and expenses incurred in the insured’s defence, as well as any damages or costs that may be awarded, if the insured is alleged to have provided inadequate advice, services, or designs that have caused their client’s financial loss.

PI EXCESS REDUCER

An Excess Waiver product covering the excess on the insured’s Professional Indemnity Policy.

PUBLIC LIABILITY

Covers the insured for property damage or personal injury suffered by a third-party where the insured is deemed to be responsible. This could be as a result of the insured’s business activities.

TOUR OPERATOR’S LIABILITY

Insures the tour operator against its legal liability incurred, as well as vicarious liability incurred as a result of the use of subcontractors. Extensions are numerous but include food and drink poisoning. Cover includes legal costs and expenses.

COMPLICATIONS ARISING FOLLOWING COSMETIC MEDICAL PROCEDURES

Covers medical costs directly related to complications arising from an original cosmetic surgery procedure.

MEDICAL EVACUATION

This is a medical assistance service which responds to motor vehicle accidents. Ambulances are deployed to the scene of an accident and emergency medical assistance rendered; where after, the accident victim is transported to the nearest appropriate medical facility.

CARGO CARRIERS LIABILITY

Indemnifies the transporter against their legal liability for property in their care, custody and control.

EXCESS OF LOSS – MOTOR THIRD PARTYLIABILITY

This is a top-up policy designed to provide additional liability cover,over and above the underlying limit of indemnity.

GOODS IN TRANSIT (GIT)

Indemnifies the owner of the goods for the loss or damage to their goods whilst being loaded, off loaded, or in transit.

GOODS IN TRANSIT (GIT) – EXCESS REDUCER

Insures the Excess applied to the policy.

HEAVY COMMERCIAL VEHICLE

The policy provides All-Risk cover for the vehicle.

MARINE TRANSIT CONTINGENT LIABILITY

Indemnifies transport brokers against losses incurred by their nominated transport subcontractors in the event the subcontractor’s premiums are unpaid.

MOTORCYCLE INSURANCE

A fully comprehensive insurance package for all motorcyclists.

MOTOR COMPREHENSIVE

Insures motor vehicles for comprehensive All-Risk cover.

NEW FOR OLD VEHICLE COVER –INCEPTION VALUE POLICY (IVP)

This unique product will enable your clients to claim the value of their vehicle (at the inception of the policy) as opposed to the current retail value of the vehicle at the time of a total loss. This policy is in addition to the client’s comprehensive insurance policy.

PASSENGER LIABILITY (PAX) &PERSONAL ACCIDENT (PA)

Passenger Liability Insurance protects a business in instances where it may become liable in terms of the law for the injury, death, or secondary emotion-al shock, of passengers while embarking, disembarking, or on board the vehicle. Cover extends to cross-border territories South of the Sahara, as well as legal defence costs.

RAF – COID (CLAIMS SERVICE ASSISTANCE)

This is a legal service which fast-tracks claims on behalf of the claimant, resulting in speedy pay-outs from these government departments.
