    Company / Core Competence

Swissfluid AG has been founded in 2002 as a small and independent company. The permanent facility at the centrally located Lenzburg/AG provides approx.2,500 m for offices, production-, assembly-, testing- as well as storage area.Swissfluid AG is specialized in the design, manufacturing and worldwide mar-keting of a comprehensive line of industrial valves and piping components.

Swissfluid (USA), Inc. has been incorporated in 2007 to serve our customers inNorth America as a sales and distribution center. Our subsidiary, ideally locatedon the Gulf of Mexico, offers fast deliveries ex Houston/TX for any valves, auto-mation packages incl. actuators, switch boxes, solenoid valves and positioners, reactor sampling systems as well as spare parts for all products

Core competence of Swissfluid is the lining of process valves and componentswith engineered plastics, designed for handling of corrosive, abrasive or evenultra pure liquid service requirements. Many years of experience in plastics pro-cessing stand as a basis for the quality of our products.Clean process conditions for the food-, drug- and semi-conductor requirementscan be provided.

    Innovation / Reliability

Conformance to international standards/regulations, company standards aswell as extensive in-house product tests assure reliable product performance.

Swissfluid Products have passed pressure- and tightness tests acc. to EN 12266-1leakage rate A resp. API 598.

    ' '

The machining department, equipped with mo-dern CNC machines enables Swissfluid to main-tain a high level process performance essential forthe overall product quality.

All machined plastic parts as well as linings andencapsulations are spark tested at 35 kV and fur-thermore are in full compliance with the FDA re-gulations.

FunctionBy means of a diaphragm pump, a forced circulation of the media is pro-duced in this system. The pump brings the media from the reactor throughthe suction hose and the open block-off valve into the sight glass. The flexible hose connects the upper top flange with the transfer pump. The pump pressure hose transfers the media through the open shut-offvalve into the bottom flange and between suction hose and dip pipe backinto the reactor. As an option, the pH-value can be permanently monitored by means of asensor attached into the top cover.By interrupting the flow through the system, a representative sample of themedia can be extracted via sampling valve into the lab bottle at any time.

    Systems

Reactor Sampling Systems are available as basic versionssuch as SRS-P (PFA-lined) resp. Typ SRS-P-P (PFA-lined, withPTFE diaphragm pump).

The systems do operate, i.e. extract the required sample bymeans of vacuum or under pressurized conditions. In ad-dition to the basic units, a large variety of accessories andoptions can be selected and the system will be assembledeasily and complete, just according to the given spec..

Basic Unit, PFA-linedwith PTFE diaphragm pumpwith PTFE suction nozzle

    SRS-PSRS-P-PSRS-P-E

FunctionBy means of vacuum resp. pressure, the process fluid flows through thesuction hose and the open block-off valve into the sight glass. The hollowball will then rise with the sample until it seats itself into the ball seat inter-rupting the vacuum/pressure line.Any gases released can be discharged by the vent connection or will returnto the system through a PTFE hose.

Function:manual samplingBy operating handwheel (or lifting/pulling deadman lever), the valve spindleis lifted out of the tapered valve seat and a representative sample will flow intothe attached lab bottle. Trapped air inside the bottle escapes through the ventconnection of the adapter, sealed by a FEP-encapsulated O-ring.As soon as the bottle contains the required sample volume, the handwheelis now operated clockwise, which in turn pushes the valve spindle back intothe valve seat. The valve is 100% dead-space-free again.

For critical and heavy duty applications, a sampling collector is used inplace of the standard adapter with lab bottle.
