This PC-based HMI is fully equipped to meet market requirements for top-of-the-line HMI or SCADA applications. It includes complete operator functionality including Graphics, Face-plates, Alarm & Events, Trending, History & Reporting, as well as messaging, calculations, system supervision, PLC connectivity, a SCADA real-time database and handling complete pro-ject documentation.

Outstanding graphics in a tough package

Compact HMI 800 is delivered pre-installed and preconfi-gured on a standard PC with Windows XP. Installation and commissioning times are thus reduced to a minimum.

The unrivalled high-resolution graphics of Panel 800 are available in three touch-screen and two keypad formats, including a large 15 inch, 1024 x 768 pixel version. The panel is delivered pre installed and pre confi gured to minimize installation and commissioning times.

Modular AC 800M controller boasts a broad set of communication functions as well as full redundancy and support for a wide range of I/O systems. A common language runtime sup-ports standard IEC 61131-5 and other program-ming languages. The controller is configured using Compact Control Builder, which now fea-tures Compact Flash memory cards for loading applications by simply inserting the card.

Compact Control Builder creates logic, sequen-tial and analog control-intensive automation solutions. Its powerful libraries are easily exten-ded with your own solutions, making it the perfect tool for automation solution suppliers where standardization and reuse are the keys to cost-effective solutions.

S800L I/O modules are both cost-effective and space-saving. They connect to any control-ler or PLC via Profibus. The S800L I/O is also fully integrated with the AC 800M controller. In addition, its modules can freely be combined with high-performance S800 I/O modules to bring advanced field interface functionality into any S800L configuration.

The S800 I/O includes a very rich set of I/O modules built to allow both hot-swap and redundancy. Functionality includes HART pass-through, built-in Ex barriers, time-stamping high-frequency pulse inputs and much, much more.

E-learning is a series of fully-illustrated, interactive step-by-step tutorials built around small yet well-defined control problems that mirror typical control tasks in automation applications. For example, the e-learning tutorial for Compact Control Builder AC 800M is built around controlling a door in the entrance to a shopping mall. The tutorials cover all key steps, including installing the software on your PC, declaring variables, creating function blocks and main logic, testing the solution, setting I/O paths, setting controller IP, downloading and going online.
