illumination of tables and trafficzones. Even broad and uniformillumination of vertical surfacesis possible using the wallwashers.This provides the creative designerwith a range of differentiatedlighting tools for efficient visualcomfort even in areas where com-pact downlights are required.

Suitable for office workstationsERCO develops luminaires with thespecifications of good glare controland high visual comfort. UGR val-ues are used as support for purelynorm-referenced lighting. Withdownlights though this should notbe carried out using ’blanket’ val-ues, but should be implementedaccording to the individual arrange-ment of luminaires in the room.

Double wallwasherThe special light distribution ofthe double wallwashers efficientlyilluminates the opposite walls ofcorridors. The diffuse, reflectedlight from the walls also illumin-ates the floor and ceiling.

Covered or flush mounting detailAs standard, all recessed lumin-aires have overlapping installationdetails. Flush mounting rings areavailable as accessories.

Shallow recess depthIn compact installation situations,every millimetre is decisive with therecess depth of a luminaire. ERCOhas thus developed special lumin-aires for shallow recess depths thatguarantee very good quality oflight even in very tight installationconditions.

Wide luminaire spacing withwallwashingEfficient ERCO photometricsallow certain luminaires to bespaced unusually far apart at up to1.5 times the distance to wall.

Arrangement: d ≤ 1.5 x h

The wall offset should be half theluminaire spacing.

Downlights oval floodOval flood

Linear lightingAs a rough guide for uniform illu-mination, the luminaire spacing(d) between two Compact down-lights installed in a row may beup to 1.5 times the height (h) ofthe luminaire above the workingplane.

Arrangement: d ≤ 1.5 x h

Application area: hallways andcirculation areas.
